Happy Halloween! Halloween is the kick off to a wonderful season of family, fun, and food! Fall brings amazing things like beautiful changing leaves, football Sundays, root vegetables and so much more! Find out how you can stay on track, stay healthy, and resist the never-ending temptations of this time of year!

Get Outside: Fall is the perfect time to get out and walk. Enjoy the beautiful leaves and comfortable temperatures before winter nears.  Take a weekend hike, or pick a scenic bike trail for your commute.

Save Calories, Drink Tea: Tea can offer a soothing balance to a busy day or curb cravings. Beyond caffeine, like many of the black and green teas have, many herbal teas contain immune boosting ingredients like ginger and turmeric.

Remember to get all of the flavors of Fall without the of the empty-calorie temptations. Make a colorful spinach salad topped with pumpkin seeds, beets and a warm vinaigrette instead of indulging in high-calorie pastries and goodies. Enjoying soups and vegetables are delicious this time of year and with a high water content, they been shown to keep us more satisfied, keeping our appetites under control.
