While your glasses may be necessary, they can still be difficult to wear when they cause discomfort. However, for the sake of your safety and health, it's important to wear them consistently. If your glasses are more uncomfortable than you'd like, follow these tips to ease your pain.

How Can You Make Your Glasses Easier to Wear?

1. Tighten the Screws

Many people deal with glasses that continuously slide down their noses. Fortunately, this issue is easily resolved by tightening the screws on either side of the frames. Alternatively, tie elastic hairbands on the ends and set them behind your ears, or spread wax on the nose pads.

2. Bend the Frames

3. Loosen the Nose Pads

When your glasses feel too tight on your nose, pull the nose pads apart from each other. Just make sure that you're holding the bridge of the glasses and being gentle. You'll weaken the metal if you do this often, so if it's a frequent issue, it may be time to get new glasses.

4. Soothe Your Skin

If your skin is still getting used to the glasses, you may be experiencing some irritation on your temples or the backs of your ears. Before putting on your glasses for the day, dab some baby powder on those irritated areas to ease the discomfort.
