In June of this year, a male dog was brought to our animal clinic by a good Samaritan. He’d been hit by a car on Fort Morgan Road. The poor pup was in such lousy shape our staff thought he wouldn’t make it through the night. To everyone’s surprise and delight, he was up the next morning, wagging his tail.

Over the next month, Morgan—as he was now known—was nursed back to health with aid from our team at Animal Medical Center. He had surgery to repair his back leg and was given ample rest time to allow his shattered pelvis to heal.

When his condition improved, he was fostered with the assistance of Operation FAVOR (Financial Assistance for Vetting or Rescuing) and transported by P.E.T.S. (Peterson Express Transport Services) to his new home in New England.

Thanks to the many people who responded to Morgan’s situation, this happy dog continues to sparkle and has now been officially adopted. His new forever mom, Ali, will continue his physiotherapy so he’ll continue to grow stronger. She plans to take him on many future adventures to allow his joyful spirit to glow brighter.
