You can also change the height so that your feet can remain flat on the ground when you are sitting as far back in your chair as possible. This added support will alleviate discomfort and support the spine.

2. Use a Headset

This can strain the neck muscles and cause tightness in the shoulders, which can then radiate down through the back. 3. Avoid High Heels

If your office has a strict dress code and employees are required to wear heels, try to avoid the highest ones in your closet. The higher the heel, the less support you have and the more influence it can have on the lower back. Try a shorter, chunky heel for more support until your back has healed. 4. Take Short Walks

Sitting for long periods is not recommended, especially when you’re experiencing pain in your lower back. Try to get up every 30 mins and take a short walk around the office. These short walks get the blood flowing and can relieve your back from the pressure of sitting in a chair. 

5. Sit & Stand Carefully

When you’re dealing with discomfort in your spine, any movement can be quite painful. Remember to always sit and stand carefully, keeping your back straight at all times and avoiding any sudden jerking motions.
