Recently, the dentist’s office known as Peter McIntyre, DDS, PC has changed their name to Briargate Advanced Family Dental. Although nothing will change in the office, their new name reflects the practice’s commitment to advanced treatment while providing the same compassionate family dental care as always. Plus, while the original dentist, Dr. McIntyre, still sees patients, the practice has grown over the years and now includes three others. Find out more about each below.

Peter McIntyre, DDS

Respiratory Therapist, Dental Hygienist, Dentist, Dr. McIntyre has been serving the community of Colorado Springs, most of his adult life. Offering caring and comprehensive dentistry services since 1987 both in the dental office setting as well as the hospital & skilled nursing facility settings. After practicing with the El Paso County Health Department pediatric clinic and serving as the Director of the El Pomar Community Health Dental Clinic, he established a full-time private practice. Dr. McIntyre has a passion for changing lives and taking care of people. Passionate about the cutting edge of dentistry to include imaging techniques and the now famous cad-cam crown in a day, Dr. McIntyre’s journey forward has been driven into 3D printing, digital dentures, Sleep Disordered Breathing and unmasking a whole new world of general dentistry for the benefit of the patient. Dr McIntyre and his wife have five married children (six grandchildren) and daughter who will graduate from high school in May of 2020. 

Jessika Martin, DDS

Dr. Martin has been working in the dental profession since the 1990's. She began her career as a dental assistant before transitioning to a dental hygienist for about 10 years, and finally to a dentist. As one of the most caring dentists this world has to offer, she always goes above and beyond for her patients. Her passion lies in the growth and development of children and whole-body health of all patients. Dr. Martin uses appropriate methods to analyze and solve complex dental situations. She enjoys providing the highest level of care to each of her patients. Active in Special Olympics for decades, she is experienced in working with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Dr. Martin is married to her best friend, Andy, and they have three daughters.  She enjoys crafts of all sorts, baking and traveling.

Bill Butt, DMD

Dr. Butt and Dr. McIntyre met at UCCS and are lifelong friends.  Graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry, Dr. Butt has been practicing since 1981 and began his career in the U.S. Navy. During his time in the military, he was recognized with the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy Commendation Medal, and the Navy Marine Achievement Medal, receiving four awards of each type. After a two year residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio Dr. Butt’s navy Career soared. Dr. Butt finds special interest in CEREC technology, an innovative technique for producing dental crowns more efficiently. Dr. Butt sees Special Needs patients in the hospital setting as well as serving as a contract dentist with the US Military.  He enjoys hunting, fishing and surfing.  He and his wife, Debbie, are the proud parents of two adult sons, and recently, added a daughter-in-law.

Gregory Moore, DDS

Dr. Moore completed his dental training at Georgetown University in 1985 before serving as a Dental Officer in the U.S. Army. During that time, he completed his general practice residency at Fort Carson, CO and served overseas.  In the years since, Dr. Moore has owned a dental practice in southern Colorado Springs, serving the community for 29 years.  In December of 2018, he joined the team of professionals here at Briargate Advanced Family Dental utilizing advanced dental techniques, including Cad Cam and advanced restorative techniques.  Dr. Moore satisfies his lifelong love of aviation with building and flying radio controlled model aircraft-particularly jets.  In addition, he has been a member of the Downtown Rotary club for 28 years.  He and his wife Susan, enjoy spending time with their daughter, son-in-law and two precious grandsons.
