Thank You, Volunteers

It has been a whirlwind couple of months at CAP. On September 15th, CAP had a grand opening of The PD Center of Connecticut. This facility was a long time in the making, from conception to grand opening, requiring months of planning, hard work, and dedication. On Saturday, October 5th, CAP will host our 4th Bi-annual Gala event.

For those of you have ever planned events of this magnitude, you realize the extraordinary amount of work that it takes to get them off the ground.  CAP’s goals are achieved by a dedicated team of volunteers trying to help those with Parkinson’s and their families. The success of both events mentioned above is a reflection of the ever-increasing dedication and enthusiasm of our volunteers.

I want to personally thank each one of you for your recent involvement and generous time commitment in making these events a success. I know many of you spent countless hours on the events. CAP could not fulfill our mission without your help. Your passion, motivation, and effort are truly an inspiration to the CAP community.

CAP is trying to help our members live lives today while trying to find a cure for tomorrow. There will never be a better time than right now to volunteer!

I encourage you to volunteer for CAP or another non-profit in your community. We are growing by leaps and bounds. Volunteers are the lifeblood of any nonprofit, and CAP is no exception. Please consider volunteering on one of our many committees. You do not need any special talents. Being you is enough. We will find a role that fits your schedule and talents.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Warm Regards,
