If you have a collector car to show off at an auto show, it's essential to come prepared. The space is likely to be crowded, and you won't want to leave in the middle of the event for supplies you forgot. Here are the main types of items you should make sure to have when you go to a car show.

How to Pack for a Car Show

1. Keeping Comfortable

Since this will be an outdoor event, you're going to spend hours out in the sun. Sunscreen and lip balm are essential, and a hat is a good idea to shade your face. Bring some sort of seating, such as a folding chair. Make sure you have snacks and cash that you can use in an emergency.

2. Cleaning Up

Bring microfiber cloths and detailing supplies like wax, so you can give the car a once-over when it's in place. This way, it'll be at its absolute best when being admired at the car show.

3. Creating the Display

As people come by your car, they'll want to know more about it. This is a chance to promote the vehicle and the work you've put into it. You can show progress photos from the restoration, put up a poster with information about the car, and display contact info for anyone who wants to keep in touch after the event.
