Did you know that October is National "THINK POSITIVE" Month? A positive attitude is the best trait you can carry with you because it makes any difficult or frustrating situation a lot easier to deal with.

October's Guest Speaker:

Using a positive attitude, a bit of humor & her vast experience in VA Long Term Care Planning, Medicaid Planning & Special Needs Trust, Elizabeth Allen, JD LLM will present the Small Assisted Living Coalition's Monthly Educational Segment this October.

Elizabeth specializes in Elder Law and has been practicing law since 1989. This month she will cover the specific changes to the ALF's portion on the new application for Veteran's Aid & Attendance.

Recap Previous Meeting: September's guest speaker, Dr. Tommy Lane of Lane Chiropractic & Family Wellness Center presented an indepth look at alternative options to knee surgery for our aging residents/patients population. He demostrated a sincere passion for his practice and a geniune desire to help his patients gain the best quality of life possible.

We are excited and looking forward to being back at the fabulous Tampa Lakes Rehab. It was just two short years ago that the Small Assisted Living Coalition launched their grand opening and we are expecting a repeat showing of enthusiastic support.
