After coming to Connecticut in 1982, the stoneware forged in her hometown remained a central component of every family meal. Each piece sold by the company is crafted from indigenous clay in Boleslawiec without machinery or toxins. By importing these stoneware treasures, Englander supports fabricators in Poland and has become a celebrated female entrepreneur. 

The First Manufaktura® Factory Store Outside Poland Is Now Open!

With business continuing to thrive, the company’s mission is to “foster good customer relationships, expand our customer base, and offer the most extensive array of Bolesławiec stoneware in the world.” In that effort, Manufaktura®, a Polish brand in partnership with Janelle Imports, now has its own factory store in Watch Hill, RI.

As the first Manufaktura store outside of Poland, this special retail storefront offers a boutique shopping experience. It’s the best place to find new patterns in nautical themes that make baking and mealtime truly special. The factory store is open seven days a week for shopping. Better yet, this shop will have its own unique collection of stoneware available next summer.
