Just make sure to wear shoes with good arch support and to do stretching exercises, like leg swings and calf stretches, beforehand. 

2. Pilates

Pilates is another wonderful exercise for those with bad knees. It’s a gentle workout and can help improve muscle tone, balance, flexibility and joint mobility. If you’re new to Pilates, you may want to work with certified instructor to ensure you’re doing the moves correctly.

3. Swimming
