St. Louis – August 16, 2019 – Inc., an American weekly magazine which publishes about small businesses and startups, recently announced that WheelHouse Solutions has been named the ninth fastest-growing company in Missouri, 630th fastest growing in the country. WheelHouse showed 700% growth in the past three years.

The Inc. 5000 list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Companies are ranked according to percentage revenue growth over a three-year period. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of the starting calendar year, and therefore able to show three full calendar years of sales. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31 of the last year measured. Revenue in the initial year must have been at least $100,000, and revenue in the most recent year must have been at least $2 million.

WheelHouse Solutions showed 700% growth in the past three years. The company was also named sixth fastest-growing company in the St. Louis, Missouri/Illinois gateway area, as well as the 25th top IT management company.

WheelHouse provides cost-efficient managed IT services, backed by a professional IT staff with experience in multiple disciplines. The company can support existing IT staff or provide complete IT services, including help desk operations, IT automation, IT consulting and patch management. Wheelhouse stands out with managed IT clients because of a commitment to not only provide proactive management and support, but to also manage security and compliance requirements for client IT infrastructure. The WheelHouse team stays up to date on the latest technologies and the management of security around the latest technologies, as well as how that’s affected by the compliance requirements of specific industry.

Not only have the companies on the 2019 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but the 2019 list as a whole shows staggering growth compared with prior lists. The 2019 Inc. 5000 achieved an astounding three-year average growth of 454 percent, and a median rate of 157 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $237.7 billion in 2018, accounting for 1,216,308 jobs over the past three years.

As Inc. editor in chief James Ledbetter commented, “The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 have followed so many different paths to success. There’s no single course you can follow or investment you can take that will guarantee this kind of spectacular growth. But what they have in common is persistence and seizing opportunities.”
