Now that several versions have been considered and submitted for feedback from tax professionals, the Treasury Dept. and the Internal Revenue Service released their almost final version of Form W-4 on Friday. The redesign was initiated in the wake of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act which eliminated the traditional exemptions for dependents and taxpayers along with many deductions.  Today’s blog shares an article from Accounting Today about the new form.
