Next, stage your workplace ergonomically. Place your monitor directly in front of you, about 20 to 40 inches away. You shouldn’t be hunched over or squinting to see anything.

Also, while you’re working on a computer, take some time to rest your eyes. The 20-20-20 rule states that you should look at something 20 feet away from you for 20 seconds every 20 minutes. This can prevent eye strain and lessen light sensitivity.
