Trail highlights include the Vermillion Falls, a scenic overlook of the Mississippi River and Lake Rebecca, the Lock & Dam #2 and a perfect ending spot in Hastings historic downtown.

1. Saturday Night Cruise-Ins on 2^nd Street. Every other Saturday throughout the summer, Hastings historic downtown fills will classic cars, live music and food trucks.  The events run 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. and are FREE to the public. 

1. Explore the trails of Carpenter Nature Center. Open daily from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Carpenter Nature Center offers 7 beautiful trails to explore on their MN campus.  Points of interest include the St. Croix River overlook, the education dock and the ravine lookout. Be sure to stop back in September and October to buy delicious apples from the Apple Shack!
