STAMFORD, CT – July 30th 2019 – P2 Business Solutions, which serves diversified business partners with innovative services that bring exclusive value to the channel, has appointed longtime technology executive Scott Matukas as its chief financial officer.

 

Matukas will officially join the P2 team in August in the newly created role of CFO, responsible for finance, accounting, business intelligence and overall business operations. He brings more than 30 years of business experience to P2, focused on leading growth-oriented companies across a diverse range of industries.  

 

As a senior member of the executive team, Matukas will report directly to CEO Bill Patchett.

Scott’s deep expertise, and his commitment and dedication to our agent partners, will be a key piece of the framework supporting more and more of these initiatives going forward.”

 

Prior to joining P2, Matukas most recently has served as CEO of Virtucom Group, a content marketing firm. Before that, he was co-founder and president of Digital Vertical, which is a search and social-media company, while at the same time acting as CFO of Byrne Dairy, a large Northeast based dairy processor.

 

Matukas is known to the channel through his previous roles as president of USA Datanet and CFO of Broadview Networks (and CFO of SCC Telecommunications before that). He started his financial career as a manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

 

In his personal endeavors, he serves on the board of Upstate Foundation in Syracuse, N.Y., which supports the Upstate University Hospital, Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital and the Upstate Cancer Center; and is also on the board of his alma mater, Le Moyne College.
