The blood supply in our community is in crisis. Blood donations from donors are not keeping up with the transfusion needs of Central Texas hospital patients. Our community is not alone. There are shortages nationally too.  
Blood supply availability affects the number of surgeries that hospitals can perform. It also negatively affects victims of emergencies including shootings, car accidents, and complications from birth.
We are asking for your help.
If you are eligible, please give blood today or tomorrow at a donor center or blood drive:
•    Walk-ins are highly encouraged in the next three days. Find a donor center or public drive near you.
