Following the storms over the past weekend we received several calls on Monday with power surge related issues.  Things like computers that won’t boot up, no longer able to connect to WIFI printer, no WIFI router connectivity, or just plain no internet access.  All of these issue can be caused by power surges or brown outs.  These are the lucky ones that were not struck by lightning that could have blown out all your electronics.  

Remember you do not need to get a direct hit by lightning to get the effects of it within your home.  All those power lines going to your home are good conductors for lightning to travel on and into your home.
