Hawaiiana Management Company’s newest department is our Accounting Specialist Team. The team is a direct outgrowth of Hawaiiana’s growing client base, and our sincere desire to serve owners in the most efficient and convenient way possible.  Our Accounting Specialists are responsible for answering questions and providing customer service regarding owner’s records and accounts including change of address, escrow transactions, accounts payable vendors, SurePay automatic maintenance fee deductions and more – all by calling one number, or sending a single email. Our Accounting Specialists are versatile and knowledgeable, equipped to answer questions for owners at all properties. Our Accounting Specialists are in the office Monday through Friday, from 8AM to 5PM.

The Accounting Specialist Team fields about 250 calls a week. It takes a kind of special person to talk on the phone for hours at a time, handling questions, requests and problems with kindness, patience, expertise and understanding.  Here, in their own words, are some of the reasons our dedicated Accounting Specialists love their jobs and are invaluable to Hawaiiana and our clients:

  • I love working as an Accounting Specialist! It is a versatile position where we have to be knowledgeable in many different areas of accounting. We assist with account balances, fee due dates, and other questions, and are responsible to guide clients through the process of signing up for our payment features and electronic statements. It gives me great pleasure to help owners obtain the information that they need to resolve questions or problems. It takes a lot of listening, patience, and a caring attitude.
