2. Use Glass

Light makes a small space feel larger, so install at least one window in the bathroom. Skylights can let in light without sacrificing privacy. Use a frameless glass shower door rather than a normal shower curtain. This makes the space feel larger than it is by extending the line of sight and allowing all the natural light from your window to enter the shower.

3. Keep It Simple

Don’t overwhelm the space with too many different colors or designs. Establish a single focal point, such as a piece of artwork above the tub or a large mirror with pendant lighting above the sink.
