Mr. Carey, who is married with one child, stays active both in his local community and church. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors of Emmanuel Christian School and as a deacon in Bay Springs Baptist Church, Mr. Carey has also coached Upward basketball and soccer. When not defending the rights of Dothan's citizens, Mr. Carey enjoys camping, fishing, playing the banjo, and spending time with his friends and family.
