Today, SERVPRO of Greater St. Augustine/St. Augustine Beach would like to stop and recognize our silent heroes.  Yesterday, I heard a story that seemed like it came straight out of the scene of a superhero movie.  Have you ever seen an Amber Alert and wished you could have helped? A young teenager took that initiative over the weekend and helped save a woman who was being kidnapped.  The 13 year old heard the commotions and went into action.  She threw the shutters open, and bolted outside with her cell phone in hand, and yelled at the guy to let the woman go. Immediately, she called 911 and the St. John’s County Sheriff’s Office was promptly on the scene within minutes.  Her quick thinking and actions stopped a kidnapping in progress.

In this moment we would like to let that little hero know we are thankful for her actions of selflessness and courage.
