To support their mission of providing their residents with the comfort, compassion, and joy they deserve, Lifetime Care is hosting their seventh fall fundraiser. The annual Harvest Festival brings together patients, friends, family, and staff for a day of fun. Donations are accepted throughout the event and all proceeds go to their hospice and bereavement programs.

September 6, 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.

hospiceHeld in Burgundy Basin, Pittsford, this year’s Harvest Festival will celebrate the tireless efforts of hospice and home aides and volunteers. Awards will be given to top staff. Don Alhart of Channel 13, a local media personality, will be there to join in the festivities.

Activities include spiritual readings, a caricature artist, and live entertainment from the Brick City Singers. There will be a harvest-themed dinner and a photo booth for you to capture memories. You can also expect raffles with amazing prizes and a silent auction. A “We Remember Them” video presentation will celebrate the lives of those who have been lost.

Proceeds from the event go to families of hospice members, for refurbishing hospice centers, and to fund bereavement services. They will also help support valuable programs like music therapy and massage therapy.

First founded in 1960, Lifetime Care serves the Finger Lakes region with locations in Rochester, Newark, Auburn, Dundee, and Lakeville.
