Baked French Toast with Blueberries

6 eggs- whisk and add to 

3 cups whole milk 

3 /4 cup maple syrup

pinch of fine salt

2 teaspoons cinnamon

2 cups blueberries (add when all ingredients are in pan)

Zest of lemon-add to milk mix

½ loaf sourdough bread , 1 day old crust removed

Add egg mixture to bowl of bread cubes

Let stand 10 minutes.  Butter sides and bottom of a rectangle baking dish and pour in bread mixture-evenly

Sprinkle blueberries evenly over top

Bake 350-  40 to 45 minutes 

Serve hot.
