Living with a loved one who has Osteoporosis

Ways to help someone with Osteoporosis

Olivia Holler

Do you have a loved one with Osteoporosis? Is it hard to watch them go through pain? I continue to watch my grandma suffer through many breakages and fractures from constant falls or just doing and there is not much I can do- it kills me. I used to think that there was nothing out there that could help improve Osteoporosis. But there is!

What can help my loved one?

There is a lot of different ways to help your loved one. Frist, take them to the doctor and see what kind of diet he/she should be taking. Secondly, encourage them to do light exercise, even join them to make them feel more comfortable.

What if that doesn’t help improve?

Don’t worry there is still one more thing you could do! Come to the OsteoStrong wellness center in O’Fallon. There, the wellness team can get your loved ones assessed and onto the  osteogenic loading devices to get those bones stronger.  Bone density has been shown to improve 7.34% between the spine and hip results over one year of treatment. Further, researchers found bone density gains of over 14% after 6 months of treatment. That’s incredible results!

What is osteogenic loading?

Osteogenic Loading is a device, or type of device that is designed to allow individuals to self – compress the bones of the body, stimulating a bone density response. This process has worked and has in some cases reversed Osteoporosis. That’s AMAZING.

Come in to OsteoStrong O’Fallon and see the magic happen yourself!  Make your appointment today (636)-238-8696 and get your FREE session and assessment from the wellness team!
