1. Slow Heating

The best test is to put an eight-ounce mug of water in the microwave for two minutes. If it is not steaming upon completion, replace the appliance.

2. Sparks, Burning Odors & Smoke

Any burning odors, sparks, or smoke coming from your microwave shouldn’t be ignored. Turn the appliance off immediately and wait for the fire to die before opening the door, if applicable. 4. Keypad or Door Issues
