On May 14, 2015, Ronald D. Zipp Attorney at Law, a widely respected general law legal services provider in New Braunfels, TX, proudly presented Brandon Klar with a Certificate of Commendation on behalf of the Comal County Bar Association.  The Bar Association is pleased to sponsor Brandon's attendance at Texas Boys State, a nationally renowned and extremely selective American government educational program for high school students.

Texas Boys State is a part of American Legion Boys State, a national program established in 1935 to instill knowledge of the functions of the American government system, as well as a respect for the law. Each student takes part in the operation of local, state, and federal governments, which are staffed by youth elected to various offices. The American Legion also offers Girls State, a similar program designed to offer the same opportunities to young women in various states.

The aim of Texas Boys State is to offer a practical education in the rights, responsibilities, duties, and privileges of a United States citizen, and the power each citizen holds in a democracy. Upon finishing the program, students often have an appreciation for the unique features of the U.S. government and a true sense of inner workings of the government.
