If there is power and there’s still no water coming out, check that the pressure switch is on. Next, examine the circuit breaker—if it tripped, reset it. Have the breaker checked by a technician if it trips frequently.

2. Faulty Pressure Switch

This switch automatically turns on whenever there’s a drop in water pressure in the tank. Without a functional pressure switch, the motor pump will not turn on to pull water from the ground. Try jiggling the area around the pressure switch, and if that works, it means there’s a loose connection or contact somewhere. Otherwise, call for professional assistance.

3. Broken Pump Controller

Sometimes, the issue might be with the pump controller. It contains a capacitor that starts up the water well pump. For controllers that are installed outside the tank, try replacing them if you’re handy. However, it’s not a guarantee that this will solve the problem.
