2. Mismatched Paint

If a car’s paint shades don’t match, this may be an indication of a past auto accident. New paint applications over old coatings are likely to show ripples and changes. The luster and finish may also look odd as a result of this. Look at concealed areas on the vehicle as well, including panel edges, trim and on the inside of doors.
