Beisswenger’s Hardware & Power Equipment is seeking full and part-time experienced small engine mechanics for our fast growing Power Equipment department.  Beisswenger’s is one of the largest power equipment dealers in the Twin Cities.  Applicant must have knowledge of 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines.  We service major name brands like Toro, Honda, Stihl, Cub Cadet, Husqvarna, Simplicity, Kawasaki, Briggs & Stratton, and Tecumseh.

Job Requirements:

• Related job experience of 5+ years
• Excellent mechanical skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent attendance
• Basic computer knowledge
• Able to work in a fast paced work environment
• Able to lift and carry up to 60lbs
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to work independently or with others
• Able to lookup and find parts for repairs

Job Functions:

• Responsible for diagnosing problems related to small engine power products
• Responsible for completing work orders when equipment is repaired
• Responsible for looking up parts on a computer based system
• Responsible for locating and ordering parts if needed for repairs
• Responsible for communicating with the service manager on repairs
• Responsible for keeping a neat, clean,  and safe work area at all times
• Responsible for turning in completed paperwork for compensation

Compensation is on a commission basis.  50K to 75K+  You are in control of how hard you work and how much money you can make in this position.
