2. Clear the Indoor Vents

The indoor vents needs cleaning as well. Check every vent in your home — none of them should be covered by furniture or other debris. Give them at least six inches of space. Dust them off so that when you turn the system on for the first time, you won’t send a puff of dust into the air that everyone breathes.
