Your 2 HP Residential Grinder Station is an expensive piece of equipment, which we would like to service and maintain for you. We recommend you clean your Station annually.

INITIAL CLEANING - $249.75. Thereafter $224.75 when scheduled service of 2 years or less.

1) Check control panel, tighten all electrical connections and spray with contact cleaner to remove any corrosion build up.

2) Install electrical sealant in conduit to prevent corrosive vapors from entering control panel.

3) Insert 2000 PSI Hydro JETTER hose with cleaning nozzle, into main horizontal drain line from basin, pulling all sand, grease and debris into basin.

4) Scrub sides of Basin, Floats, Discharge Piping and Motor to remove build up of grease and oils. Using Vacuum Vehicle, remove sand (the #1 cause of blade/bearing wear and seal failure), debris and sediment from basin, which may jam Pump.

5) Adjust and check Float/Floats for proper operation and maximum storage to reduce short cycling of Pump.

6) Check Discharge Piping and connections inside Basin.

7) Replace any missing/corroded bolts with new fasteners and replace weather stripping between lid and basin, if necessary.

8) Place 8 oz. time release enzyme tablet in Basin to help break down grease, place insect bait traps in control panel and cycle Station for proper operation.

9) Amp motor for signs of excessive wear or seal trouble and record amp draws for Pump history.

 

 

 

PLEASE NOTE: Cleaning includes our Priority Service in the even you ever have a Grinder Station problem. While there is no guaranteed method to prevent breakdowns or stoppages, this service will extend the life of your Grinder Pump Station and keep your Main Drain Line clean.
