Lent is a time for reflecting on the teachings of Christ, understanding His ministry, and developing a deeper, more fulfilling relationship with God. To help you enrich your spiritual life and learn how to live your Christian faith, Knox Presbyterian Church, a local church serving Cincinnati, OH, is offering a series of events, bible study classes, and opportunities for reflection.

Celebrate Lent With Knox Presbyterian Church

Adult Faith Formation classes provide insight into Christian mysticism through the lens of three different writers: Julian of Norwich, Teresa of Avila, and Simone Veil. Class will meet every Sunday throughout Lent in the church Session Room.

Every Wednesday from March 20th to April 17th, Jana Reister will be leading a weekly dinner and study of Breathing Underwater by Richard Rohr. The dinner starts at 6:00 pm, and the study session will begin at 6:30.

churchIn addition to their special programming, Knox Presbyterian Church will also host the traditional Lent services, starting with Maundy Thursday on April 18th at 7:30 pm. Good Friday, marking the day of Jesus’s crucifixion, will be celebrated on April 19th at noon, and you can join the Easter Sunday service on the 21st at 9:00 am or 11:00 am.
