Summer camps are unlike any other experience you can give your child. Parents who attended camp as a child are well aware of the benefits but if you didn’t, you may not fully realize the impact of participating in tennis camp can have on the developing minds and bodies of children.

Physical Fitness

Long breaks from school and schedules can negatively impact children’s physical capabilities.  Participating in Tennis Camp means running, playing, using coordination skills, learning the game of tennis and less time on the couch watching TV or sitting at the computer or playing video games.  Additionally, children are more prone to weight gain when they are away from the routines normally experienced in school and staying active will prevent over eating and sedentary behavior.

Social Skills

Tennis Camp will introduce your children to new friends; people they may never know otherwise.  Exposing them to a more diverse group of children than they may interact with on a regular basis is guaranteed

Routine

Children who spend a majority of their summer  break watching TV or occasionally hanging out with friends, have a hard time returning to a long school day. Children should keep to a regular routine over the break can help ease the transition into the new school year.   This way, they will return refreshed  and confident to face a new school year.

Self-confidence

It doesn't matter if you're child attends for half the day or full day, he/she will come home with new skills learned, unique experiences and a wider scope to his/her world.   These introductions and experiences add up to growth that can give children the confidence to handle challenges at school and a sport to call their own!
