Beavercreek Clay Courts Tennis Club in Beavercreek, OH, is proud to announce that they have been selected by Tennis Club Business as the March 2019 Tennis Facility of the Month. BCCTC owner and tennis director Steve Hayden sat down for an interview with the publication to discuss the amenities the club offers as well as his longtime passion for teaching and playing tennis. Below are some highlights from the article.

BCCTC's Amenities

What makes BCCTC unique among tennis clubs is their clay courts. Hayden chose clay for three reasons: "1) [I] enjoy the style of play that clay provides and 2) [I] know that clay provides a better aerobic workout for players and 3) [I] know that clay will allow me to play longer as a senior than hard courts." BCCTC is home to five Har-Tru® tennis courts—the industry leader in clay courts—as well as three pickleball courts, a clubhouse, and an on-site parking lot. They offer memberships to all courts or specific memberships just for pickleball; members never pay court fees. The club currently has over 200 members and is always welcoming more.

Benefits of Joining the Club

Hayden cites numerous advantages of joining BCCTC. First, there are the health benefits of tennis, which is an excellent cardiovascular workout. Also, with creative events and activities on the schedule, there is always something fun going on at the club. The club holds events with school and community organizations to bring people together and introduce more locals to the joys of tennis.

Beavercreek Clay Courts Tennis Club will reopen for the season on May 4, 2019, with a free drop-in on Saturday, May 4th and Sunday, May 5th. In addition to world-class courts and pickleball, they offer tennis leagues, private lessons, and clinics.
