Building Out

Building Up

With this option, home builders remove the roof of your home and construct the addition above your current living quarters. This usually turns the rest of your home into a construction zone for the duration of the project. Sometimes, local zoning codes include height restrictions for homes in a particular area. However, it does not require you to cut into your yard space, so if you have a small lot and don’t want to give up that valuable outdoor space, this may be the right option for you.
