With a passion for travel and technology, Cindy Christensen has launched a blog to showcase her interests and share her love of traveling with the world. Cindy is a 2015 graduate of Touro College Graduate School of Technology in New York City, and she was the featured speaker at her class graduation ceremony. Her website, Travel till Dawn, was a thesis project that has evolved into a platform for Cindy to connect with the world.
- The Blog
Travel till Dawn promotes various cities and locations that are exciting and affordable for travelers of all ages. Cindy is especially proud of her work on the design and layout of the site and how the abilities to connect her content with social media have helped promote her work. She plans to continue evolving Travel till Dawn, hoping it becomes a portfolio for future employers and clients to peruse to get an idea of her talents.
- Experience at Touro College GST
Cindy relished her experience in the Web and Multimedia Design masters program at GST and gained a wealth of new skills throughout her time there. Instructors Jesse Epstein (Intro to Multimedia Technology) and Andy Deck (Interactive Design and Interface Design) were especially helpful in the development of Travel till Dawn. Cindy is thrilled to have chosen GST as her institution of higher education and looks forward to sharing her new skills…on her blog and beyond!
- The Future
She also feels well-prepared for her future. "The combination of creative and technical skills I learned at Touro will give me a competitive advantage over other potential candidates," she says. Cindy also gets excellent support from Touro College GST's Career Services Center, which keeps her updated with job listings and other employment guidance.
