WeCare Organics is proud to announce their very own Ryan Cerrato was recently appointed to the New Jersey Composting Council (NJCC) Board of Directors. The newly formed nonprofit is focused on promoting composting and organic recycling in the state, aligning with WeCare’s commitment to regeneration and the environment. Here are a few things to know about the committee.

What Is The New Jersey Composting Council? 

NJCC is an official state charter chapter of the U.S. Composting Council. They aim to educate government officials and the public about the importance of composting and recycling.

Their primary mission is to drive regulations and legislation throughout New Jersey for the betterment of the environment and the economy. They’re working on building a coalition of like-minded business owners and industry professionals to join in their efforts of building a green future. Jairo E. Gonzalez of Waste ProGreen and president of the NJCC said in a statement:

"Our newly installed trustees and officers have diverse experience in the composting and organics recycling industry, and NJCC plans to leverage this experience for the benefit of our members and all of New Jersey."

Who is Ryan Cerrato?

Ryan Cerrato joined WeCare as a Business Development Associate and currently serves the organization as the Director of Product Marketing. In this role, he oversees the sales and marketing of their parent company’s, Denali Water Solutions, line of compost and engineered soil products (WeCare Organics Products). Cerrato also serves on the Biosolids Committee for the PWEA (Pennsylvania Water Environment Association) and the Communications Committee for MABA (Mid-Atlantic Biosolids Association).
