About 20% of the U.S. population choose to be healthy. 80% choose not to or are unaware that there is a choice.

20% understand that most aspects of our health are totally under our own control, depending on our daily (hourly) choices how we eat, how we exercise, how we think, the company we keep…

80% of people don’t realize or don’t care enough to make choices that, at the moment, may not be the most fun: ordering a salad instead of a hamburger and fries, saying no thanks to a dessert, choose to go for a walk instead of watching a soap opera, questioning blood pressure or cholesterol medication and deciding to lose 30 lbs. and get the lab numbers back to where they ought to be naturally, instead of changing the numbers with pharmaceuticals and ignoring the cause.

Today’s fast paced society has created a population that are used to instant gratification and immediate results. To live a lifestyle that promotes health, you have to take responsibility for your body and treat is respectfully and with care. You need to put serious thought into your daily decisions how to live your life knowing that long term gratification of a healthy life and a healthy aging process is available with giving up a few pleasures and enjoyments such as cookies, ice cream, pizza and beer.

Approximately 20% of the U.S. population make the healthier choices and have dramatically different health profiles and life expectancies than the 80% who don’t. Just knowing that most of the health issues that loom on the horizon are avoidable, if we are mindful in our everyday activities and choices, is very empowering. Are you taking the responsibility for your health seriously to change some old (bad) habits and deciding to be a 20%er instead of spiraling down the sickness path with continuing bad habits? The choice is up to you. If you desire a long, healthy, active life: eat right, exercise right, sleep right, breathe right, drink your water and get natural body care such as a chiropractic, acupuncture and massage therapy.

Remember the choice and decision is yours and yours alone.
