This is an all too common site in gyms.. Finishing a set of whatever exercise it may be "ugly".. In other words, with bad form. The Form Principle of exercise states that when performing a set of an exercise your Last Rep should be your Best Rep.. not your worst.... So when your set is about to end you should feel as though you have one or two more good reps left in the tank. Remember, muscles don't have brains or memories.. It's your nervous system that you are programming.. In the words of one of my favorite teachers, Paul Chek, "Junk In-Junk Out".. So just by saying, "Last Rep, Best Rep" you can avoid looking ugly and this can no only affect your workout but carry over into other parts of your life.. Train smart my friends, Brett.
