Lincoln Foundation Division Tackles Large Home
In October, Stephens & Smith Residential Foundations completed a 149 cubic yard basement — one of its largest projects ever in Lincoln.
The project spread across two lots and featured 40 corners and nine elevation changes. “It was such a large foundation that it took every form we had,” Project Manager Ryan Jones said.
The crew used brick-textured forms to make the entire pour of the walls, which were 8 inches thick by 9 feet tall. “It was a tremendous amount of wall,” he said. “But we did a good job overcoming adverse weather and providing a quality product.”
