For more than 20 years, the Stephens & Smith Rehab team has been a leader in concrete removal and installation.  Led by Supervisor Nick Zimmerman, the team typically tackles two- to five-day driveway projects across the area. But recently, they took on the challenge of performing concrete work for FireWorks Restaurant near 84th and Old Cheney.

Project Manager Roger Andersson said their new hydraulic breaker for their skid loader helped them complete the larger-scale project in just three weeks, minimizing the disruption to the business.  The attachment will come in handy for additional larger FMA Reality projects that Rehab is scheduled to take on in the months ahead.

Versatility sets the Rehab team apart, Andersson said.  “For the past couple of years, we have been doing inside work during the winter,” he said. “For example, we worked throughout the night during a project at SuperSaver to minimize daytime noises.   “The team has really stepped up when needed to tackle these different projects.”
