The IRS sent a Taxpayer Advisory earlier this week providing taxpayers with answers to questions relating to the start of the tax season and the end of the government shutdown. The main piece of advice was to access the IRS through IRS.gov as telephone delays are expected. The first part of this advisory was presented in yesterday’s blog. Today’s blog includes information about the new 1040 Form, free tax help, and online tools.
