1. Wear the Right Gear

These shoes will reduce your risk of tripping and falling on the court. It’s also a good idea to wear a mouth guard to protect against dental injuries. If you wear glasses, you should put on protective eyewear made of shatterproof plastic.

2. Warm Up Your Body

Before a game of basketball, you should do warm-up exercises for at least 10 minutes. They can increase blood flow to your muscles and reduce strain in your joints and ligaments, reducing your chances of a sports injury. Examples of great warm-up exercises including running in place, jumping jacks, squats, side shuffles, and arm circles.

3. Follow the Rules
