Rest assured, Wagoner Power Equipment in Englewood, OH, is continuing business as usual after the passing of the founder Glen Wagoner on October 14, 2018, at the age of 83. Glen got his start on the farm next to JD’s Old Fashioned Frozen Custard; later, he went to Deeter Nurseries. From there, he became a lifelong nurseryman and knew most species of local trees and plants. He started Wagoner Landscaping and Garden Center in 1965 on Route 40 in Englewood. Glen was an agile and hard worker during his life. He always liked being busy and enjoyed helping people and working on equipment. He loved tinkering with his antique farm equipment. In 1997, this became Wagoner Power Equipment, now operated by Terry and Quentin. Glen instilled honesty and integrity into the company culture and his sons.
