3. Distemper 

The distemper shot is actually a combination vaccine that protects against several illnesses. For dogs, it typically includes immunizations for distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus. For cats, on the other hand, it protects against panleukopenia, which is often called feline distemper, as well as calicivirus and feline viral rhinotracheitis.
