Slow down at the first sign of rain, especially after a dry spell. While we’ve already had our first rain of the season and going, this is still important information to keep on hand. This is when many roads are most slippery, because oil and dust have not washed away. A slippery road will not give your tires the grip they need. Drive more slowly than  you would on a dry road. Adjust your speed as follows:

WET ROADS – Go 5 to 10 mph slower than the posted limit.

PACKED SNOW –  reduce your speed by half.

ICE –  Slow to a crawl.

This will help keep you safe on the road and get to your destination in a safe and timely manner.

And remember, if you are in need of a tow, just call us here at Mt. Burney Towing. We will be glad to get you on your way no matter the situation. Be safe and God Bless! Merry Christmas
