The Food Bank of Lincoln Foundation was established in 2006. The Mission of the Food Bank of Lincoln Foundation is to support the work of the Food Bank of Lincoln. Our Foundation was created to ensure the financial future for the work of the Food Bank, and to provide supporters of our efforts a way to provide an ongoing gift to feed the hungry far into the future.

Food Bank for the Heartland is the largest food bank in Nebraska and Iowa. In 2017 the Food Bank distributed approximately 25 million meals to more than 530 pantries, emergency shelters, meal providers and other non-profit organizations.
