Mating Season Begins

As the winter months approach, so does the mating season for critters.  Most critters will be in search of the perfect mate or mates to cuddle up with for the winter.  Baby critter litters will be born as early as February or March for squirrels and chipmunks and later throughout the spring and summer months for raccoons, opossum, skunks, groundhogs, moles, birds, bats and others.  Although some critters give birth more than one time a year, spring and summer are the busiest times of the year for removal of mother critters and their young from attics, crawspaces, chimneys, soffits, under decks, patios & porches, sheds or barns as well as the mulch beds and lawns.  Litter sizes vary, but are generally 3-6 critters.
