United States veterans put their lives at risk to protect the rights and freedoms Americans get to enjoy every day. Unfortunately, the dangers soldiers face can lead to injuries. To show their thanks for these individuals’ brave service, National Prosthetics & Orthotics of Cold Springs, KY, works directly with the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide these men and women with the prosthetics and orthotics they need to lead active, rewarding lives.

Ongoing Collaboration With the VA

National Prosthetics & Orthotics regularly works with the VA in Bellview and Cincinnati, OH, as well as Maysville, KY. A Licensed Prosthetist Orthotist (LPO) and a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) even make personal visits to The Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown for those individuals who can’t leave the hospital.

prostheticOn Tuesdays and every other Friday, an LPO/CPO can be found at the Meadview Orthopedic Clinic. The aim is to help patients from the Southern Ohio VA, who have no other local resources to turn to. While in the area, they also provide custom orthotics and prosthetics services to Maysville Extended Care and other nursing homes.

What Patients Can Expect
