JEI Learning Center – Williamsburg uses a proven two-step approach in order to give their students the skills they need to succeed. First, they work with students on the fundamental skills they are struggling with. Then they move forward into test taking skills and practice.

Every child starts with a FREE diagnostic assessment, which they use to identify their strengths and weaknesses and highlight which skills they will need the most help with. Then, their certified teachers will develop a customized course of action for them. They will work individually with their teacher during their first session on improving the skills they indicated they struggled with. As we get closer to the exam, the teachers will shift from skill-mastery to test taking skills & practice, which includes official New York State Common Core test questions
